Each piece is easily identifiable thanks to the respect of the symbolism of traditional chess, which makes this set easy to play while being very original. The king and queen wear a metal crown, brass for the blacks, stainless steel for the whites. Each pawn, left natural for white or tinted with walnut shell for black, is polished then waxed one by one.
The chessboard, assembled on a bevelled and varnished birch plywood top to bring out the natural beauty of this wood, is in blue jeans, and brings a felted and silent touch when moving the pieces.
