Chessboard Blue and red mosaic

Description

Superb chessboard in blue and red mosaics. To offer a different object, as well suited to the game as a decorative object, I wanted to get out of the traditional codes by offering this imposing tray by its size and its weight. Each box is made up of four mosaic tiles in blue-green, sky-blue or navy blue or orange-red, old pink or burgundy. The diagonal squares are made up of two matching colors to emphasize the blue diagonal and the red diagonal.
Mounted on birch plywood, the perimeter is assembled with fir sticks tinted with walnut stain. The “Gilles Art Shop” logo is affixed to the back.
